Smoke Restaurant has been open and cooking BBQ over 4 weeks now, and the feedback has been great! It’s always challenging to start a new restaurant with a new concept. When it comes to Barbecue, many people yearn for the smell of the old smoker, the feel of butcher paper, and sitting at picnic tables, hey… I do too! But when my wife wants to go out for dinner after a long trip (she’s a flight attendant), she prefers the comfort and ambiance of a full-service restaurant over picnic tables. On my end, I want to give Barbeque its due. I mean if we can have chef-cooked Mexican food delivered in San Antonio, why not Barbecue?
Naturally, I want to offer not just full-service BBQ, but the best Barbecue in San Antonio! It’s a tall order, but I’ve been blessed with a talented team, good friends and new and talented sous chefs and staff. Together, we are serving Barbecue Monday through Sunday and even serving Brunch at Smoke Restaurant! San Antonio restaurants have come a long way in a short time and our friends and customers will settle only for the best. As it should be.
Our first month has been exciting and a bit instructional, not everything has gone according to plan. If you’ve been on the receiving end of less than perfect experience at Smoke, I thank you for your patience and high expectations. That’s the only way we can strive for Great.
